Fall Driving

falldriving3

Fall is the time of year when the leaves change. Although this change may seem enjoyable, it also creates a potentially dangerous situation for drivers. Falling leaves create a hazard, especially in wet conditions. Wet leaves reduce the traction on your tires and cover road markings, so you should be as cautious as you would be driving on an icy road. If your check engine light is on, don’t ignore it. You are being alerted that something is either wrong with your vehicle, or that something is about to go wrong. Drivers may not even feel or hear the problem, but ignoring this helpful light may cause problems to worsen. Call your Mr Transmission Madison for a diagnostic service – or for any other tips on how to prepare for the months ahead.
